Obsidian Femmes formed in early 2023 after four women got together in Caryn Little’s music room for an impromptu jam session. When the pieces fit as well as ours did, the next logical step was to finish the puzzle by making the band official. Empowerment is our anthem, and we belt it out unapologetically. To us, music isn’t reserved for any gender identity, age, income, or ability, and everyone deserves to benefit from the shared connection of music. That’s our message and our livelihood.
